Juvenile Steals Car From Crestwood: Police Report
A vehicle stolen from Crestwood was found by Elmhurst Police on Monday.

CRESTWOOD, IL — A vehicle stolen from Crestwood was found by Elmhurst Police on Monday. Three juveniles were taken into custody after they were located inside the stolen vehicle. According to police reports, officers were called to Thornton's Gas Station, 476 N. York St., at 12:06 a.m. Nov. 20. after reports that there were customers asking for gas money.
When police arrived, they located three juveniles inside a vehicle that had been stolen out of Crestwood, according to police reports. The three juveniles were taken into custody and transported to the police department.
At the department, one juvenile admitted to stealing the vehicle in Crestwood, according to reports. That suspect was taken to Kane County Youth Home on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, obstructing identification and no valid driver's license.

One of the other juveniles was charged under local ordinance with trespass to a motor vehicle, violation of curfew, and was released to their parent, according to police reports. The third juvenile was also charged under local ordinance with violation of curfew, and was released to a parent.
