Man Takes His Own Life In Front Of Crestwood Police Station: Police
Crestwood police say they had no interaction with the man prior to him taking his own life by way of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
CRESTWOOD, IL — A man is believed to have taken his own life Tuesday afternoon in front of the Crestwood police station, according to police.
Around 2:30 p.m., police said the man shot himself in front of the Crestwood Police Department, 13840 S. Cicero Ave. Officers and firefighters responded immediately and rendered aid.
The gravely injured man was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced deceased at 3:02 p.m.

Crestwood police said they had no interaction with the man prior to the shooting. The Cook County Medical Examiner has not released the man’s name.
