Pancake Breakfast Supports Alsip Falcons Football And Cheer Teams
The Alsip Falcons youth football and cheer teams will host their annual pancake breakfast Sunday, Aug. 20 at the Apollo Recreation Center.
ALSIP, IL — It’s youth football and cheer season again, and the Alsip Falcons are holding a pancake breakfast this Sunday, Aug. 20. You can stop by for the annual pancake fundraiser from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Apollo Recreation Center, 12521 S. Kostner Ave., Alsip.
For $5 you get pancakes, sausage, syrup, milk, coffee or tea. The Alsip Falcons are a non-profit football and cheerleading organization that has been established since 2003. The Falcons are true believers in the children in our community.
Players and cheer team members range in age from 4-14 years of age. They come with goals of their own. Whether it’s making it to the NFL, becoming a professional cheerleader, or just wanting to be a part of a winning team. All goals big and small are too important for every child in today’s world. While they may not make it to the NFL, kids will develop basic fundamentals, respect for themselves and others, the importance of teamwork, and a positive outlook whether they win or lose.
