Paralegal Accused of Selling Drugs in Alsip Bar
Witness flagged down Alsip police to complain about man trying to sell drugs in bar, prosecutor said.

ALSIP, IL -- A 36-year-old paralegal was arrested after he tried to sell drugs to patrons of an Alsip bar, prosecutors said.
Early Kluss, of Naperville, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
A witness flagged down Alsip police on Dec. 30 to complain about a man, later identified as Kluss, trying to sell drugs to patrons at Bar122, 12219 S. Cicero Ave., the prosecutor said.

Police found 8.5 grams of cocaine in individually packaged bags, along with Xanax, according to the allegations. The prosecutor said he has no prior criminal background.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Kluss is a graduate of Western Illinois University and employed as a paralegal.

Bail was set at $10,000. The judge also ordered random drug testing should he bond out.
