Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Alsip
Driver was at Alsip apartment complex when he was approached by three robbers, police said.

ALSIP, IL -- A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Monday evening while delivering food in an Alsip apartment complex, police said.
The driver was followed into a vestibule around 10 p.m. while delivering pizza at the Somerset Apartments in the 4100 block of West 127th St. Police said the delivery driver was approached by three male blacks who displayed a handgun. The driver told police that the robbers took the pizza, as well as his wallet and cell phone.
Alsip police said the driver could not provide any further description. The three men fled in a tan or silver Chevrolet Impala or Malibu. Police said the robbery is similar to others that have taken place in the area.
