Rep. Justin Slaughter Will Address Worth-Bremen Enterprize Commission

Newly tapped Rep. Justin Slaughter will speak on issues of concern to 27th District residents and businesses at Feb. 6 reception.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- The newly tapped State Rep. Justin Slaughter will be the featured speaker at a reception hosted by the Worth-Bremen Enterprize Commission on Feb. 6.

Slaughter was appointed to replace Monique Davis as the 27th District state representative after her surprise retirement in December. Davis ran unopposed in the November 2016 election.

The reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at At the Office Sports Bar and Grill, 4901 Cal Sag Road in Crestwood. The 27th District covers portions of Crestwood, Orland Park, Palos Heights, Alsip, Robbins, Blue Island and Chicago.

Slaughter was served as director for Cook County Commissioner Stanley Moore (4th) and worked with the County’s Bureau of Administration and as a legislative coordinator. Slaughter will speak to issues concerning residents and businesses in the 27th District.

Additional speakers for the night include John Ryan, trustee for Alsip, and mayoral candidate Chuck Tokar, mayor of Chicago Ridge.
