Republic Delays Trash Collection Another Day In Alsip-Crestwood

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — Republic Services has delayed service another day due to "hazardous conditions" and will not be collecting trash on Thursday, Feb. 3. All routes in Alsip and Crestwood will resume Friday and Saturday.

If you are a Wednesday or Thursday customer, trash collection will resume on your next scheduled service day. Please make sure containers are accessible for our drivers to access safely.

"Safety is our #1 priority: therefore, due to the heavy snowfall expected this evening through tomorrow afternoon ... This decision is based on the health and safety of our people and the municipalities we serve. Please take precautions for the inclement weather at your homes. I sincerely hope everyone stays safe and warm during these extreme conditions."
