Second Coronavirus Infection Reported at Elim Christian Services
A participant in Elim's adult services program where an employee is being treated for the virus, has tested positive for COVID-19.

CRESTWOOD, IL — A second person has tested positive for new coronavirus at Elim Christian Services,13020 Central Ave, Crestwood. Earlier this week, Elim reported that an employee has tested positive for COVID-19.
Both individuals were involved in the Elim’s adult services program that provides vocation, life skills, recreation, social skills and self advocacy for adults with developmental and physical disabilities. The second person was a participant in the adult services program. The Elim employee who tested positive for COVID-19 is being treated in the hospital and is said to be improving, according to a statement on Elim’s website.

Anyone who believes they had contact with someone who works or participates in Elim’s adult services program and are exhibiting symptoms of coronavirus, please contact your primary physician.

Elim also offers a school for children ages 3-12, with adult and developmental disabilities. The children are due back from spring break on April 6, but that could suddenly change.
Employees are currently prohibited from being on the Elim campus at 13020 S. Central Ave., Crestwood through March 30, also subject to change.
