Sparks In The Park At Ozinga Field CANCELLED
The free fireworks show and movie scheduled for Sunday, July 2, at Ozinga Field, has been cancelled due to rain.
CRESTWOOD, IL — UPDATE, July 2, 4:51 p.m. — "Sparks In The Park" originally set for Sunday evening, July 2, at Ozinga Field in Crestwood, has been cancelled due to rain.
"There will be no make-up date and we apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately the combination of scheduled events at the stadium and the fireworks provider being booked solid with other shows makes a make-up date impossible," the Windy City ThunderBolts said on Facebook."
Gates open at 6 p.m. The family flick, Super Mario Brothers, will be beamed on the Windy City Thunderbolts' video board at 7 p.m. After the movie, there will be an awesome firework show sure to dazzle and amaze, so start practicing your “oooo’s” and “ahaa’s.”

Outside food and drinks are allowed in the ballpark for the event. Fans are asked to help keep the ballpark clean by picking up food and litter and throwing it away, even spilled popcorn. Lawn chairs are allowed on the field, but chairs must have flat rubber bottoms so as not to pierce the turf. This will be strictly enforced. ABSOLUTELY no peanuts or seed products are allowed inside the stadium.
