Surfing the "Blue Wave"

Get Out the Vote in Worth Township

Tag lines in politics are catchy and created to get a message across in just a few words. This election, for Democrats, it is...CATCH THE BLUE WAVE! The thought of 'catching' a wave is exciting. Actually catching a wave takes strength and coordination. To surf, you take your board and paddle out beyond the breakwater, this takes strength. Once out there, you watch for your wave, many waves will pass under you as you wait for that perfect wave and the precise time to catch it. Once you see your wave on the horizon, you wait for it to get close, as it approaches the excitement builds, your heart starts pounding, you position yourself on your board, here it comes, it's gaining swell, NOW!...start to paddle...paddle, paddle, paddle, paddle like mad. When that wave is right under you, jump up on your board, eyes on the shoreline, balance, stay focused, now ride that wave all the way to the beach. What a ride! What a rush! That is where this Democratic Blue Wave is right now. Time to Catch our Wave! Time to Vote! Time to let your voice be heard! Time to ride that 'blue wave' all the way to Victory Beach. Don't let this wave roll under you and pass you by, come on in, the water is fine.
