CRESTWOOD, IL—The devastated owners are asking for neighbors’ help in finding their green parrot, who accidentally got out near 141st Street and Kostner Avenue in Crestwood.

Dolly is a blue-crowned conure parrot. She has green feathers and an orange beak. She is 5 years old and has been missing since May 5.

“She talks and everything,” said the owners’ friend Noreen, who is helping to get the word out on social media. “She always made me feel good because she said beautiful things to me all the time.”

Sweet Dolly can also tell the answer to what 2+2 is.

“She would take her beak and tap you four times or say 'four,'” Noreen told Patch. “God, I hope we find her.”
