Alsip detective told judge parolee was recognized in in the truck company's surveillance video by his tattoos.

ALSIP, IL -- An arrest warrant was issued for a Blue Island parolee who is accused of stealing four old tires from a truck lot in Alsip. Cook County Judge Peter Felice set a bond of $30,000 for the arrest of 37-year-old William Oiler. Oiler was released on parole in January from the Illinois Department of Corrections, where he had been serving three-year concurrent sentences for removal of a theft control device. Oiler also has two other felony convictions, according to prison records.
Police said Oiler drove a truck through the open gates of the Alsip Truck Center at 128th Street and Pulaski Road on Oct, 5. He was captured on video allegedly loading four semi-trailer tires into his vehicle.
“I think he sells the tires,” the detective said.
