Trunk Or Treat (Or Trick -Or-Trunk) Events Near Alsip-Crestwood
There are plenty of opportunities for kids to get in some extra treat collecting before Halloween at these area trunk or treat events.

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — Whether you call it trick or trunk, or trunk or treat, there will be plenty of candy-grabbing opportunities before the big candy finale on Halloween. Following are trunk-or-treat events near Alsip-Crestwood. These events offer a safe space where kids can dress up and make the rounds of decorated trunks filled with candy and other goodies.
Some events require an RSVP so hosts can make sure there is enough candy. Hosts are also looking for people to decorate their trunks and hand out candy. Kids can get an early start on their Halloween treat collecting at these “trunk and treat” (or “trick or trunk”) events in the coming week:

Worth Township Youth Commission, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip
Children can dress up and walk a designated path to see all the decorated cars and tables behind town hall and in the big gym. Bring your own bag to trick or treat, while supplies last. For more info email youthcommission@worthtownship.com.

Grace Point Place Memory Care, 5701 W. 101st St., Crestwood, 4 to 6 p.m.
Memory care residents will host a safe trunk or treat in the parking lot. Residents and staff will pass out treats to costumed youngsters from the trunks of decorated cars. Free. For more info call 708-290-3255.
Thursday, Oct. 26
SXU Baseball’s Annual Trunk or Treat, 3700 W. 103rd St. (Parking Lot 3) , 6 to 8 p.m.
The entire Saint Xavier University baseball team is teaming up to decorate as many cars as possible and are ready to hand out lots of candy to little Disney princesses and super heroes, in Parking Lot 3 near Shannon Center. Bring the entire family and tour the beautiful campus, get a first peek at their brand new turf on-campus baseball field, and meet the players and coaching staff. Well-behaved, 4-legged family members are also welcome.
Friday, Oct. 27
At the Office Sports Bar and Grill, 4901 Cal Sag Road, Crestwood, 5 to 8 p.m.
Come see some ghoulish cars and make the rounds at a trunk or treat cruise night. Grab dinner and drinks and stay for the Loop Rockers Halloween Show.
Saturday, Oct. 28
Sears Park, 123rd Street and Trumball Avenue, Alsip, noon to 2 p.m.
The Alsip Park District has planned a FREE trick-or-trunk event at Sears Park so put on your costume and bring your bucket for treat collecting. There is an earlier All Hallows Eve carnival and costume parade for $10 resident/$15 non-resident, but trick-or-trunk is FREE.

Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center, 5331 W. 131st St., Crestwood, noon to 2 p.m.
Wear your costume and come to the Crestwood Rec Center, Trunk or Treat. Costume contests will be held every hour.
“Trunks Open And Decorated This Saturday At Crestwood Trunk-Or-Treat”
St. Laurence High School, 5556 W. 77th St., Burbank, 9 to 11 a.m.
Children 9 years old and younger are invited to dress up in their costumes and walk the high schools halls, trick or treating in different classrooms and participating in Halloween activities along the way. This is a fun event for the family and a great way to get in the spooky spirit. Register in advance.
Peace Memorial Church UCC, 10300 W. 131st St. Palos Park, 3 to 5 p.m.
There will be a FREE Trunk Or Treat in the back parking lot of the church. In case of rain, the event will be moved inside. The community is invited to come out not only for the trick or treating, but to decorate your trunk as well. Popcorn, candy and cotton candy are featured. Webb Chevy, 9440 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
The dealership parking lot will be transformed into a mesmerizing Oak Lawn Trunk or Treat! Get ready to have a frightfully fun timering your family and friends along with creatively decorated car trunks offering delicious treats for all the little goblins and ghouls. Complete this form if you're interested in decorating your car. Participants must provide their own decorations and candy.
Garden Homes Firefighter Association, 3800 W. 119th St., Alsip, 2 to 4 p.m.
Decorate your cars, put on your costumes, bring your favorite candy and join your Garden Homes Firefighters for the second annual Trunk or Treat. See what king of creativity the community has up its sleeve this year. At least one of our fire department vehicles will also be decorated too.
