The Shepard High School marching band won Best in Class AA at the Lincoln-Way Marching Band Contest on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Marching Astros also won the extra captions for Outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Colorguard and Outstanding Percussion.   They performed their winning field show for classmates on Friday, Oct. 21 as a final tune-up before competing at Illinois State University the following day.
