Warrant Issued For DoubleTree Guest Accused of ID Theft
Alsip police said the Robbins woman and two male guests rang up an $834 room service tab.

ALSIP, IL -- A Robbins woman is wanted for identity theft after she allegedly used another person’s credit card to rent a room at the DoubleTree on Alsip. Police were in court Thursday seeking an arrest warrant for Ashley Phillips, 27.
On Oct, 5, the Alsip detective said Phillips went to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 5000 W. 127th St. and rented a room using her own state ID and a recoded credit card that didn’t belong to her. The cop told the judge that Phillips was rejoined by two men. They allegedly ordered from room service three times,ringing up a tab of $834. When the credit card stopped working, Phillips and her friends left the DoubleTree after enjoying the room for four hours, the detective said.
“What can you get for $834 from room service at the DoubleTree,” Cook County Judge Peter Felice asked the detective.

“Food, alcohol,” the detective said.
The judge issued an arrest warrant carrying a $10,000 bond. Phillips' last known address is on the 3200 block of McBreen Avenue in Robbins.
