West Beverly Man Celebrates 40 Years At Sertoma Centre

Robert Sniegolski, 62, reaches 40-year milestone as a participant in Alsip organization's programs for intellectually challenged persons.

ALSIP, IL -- A West Beverly man was honored for his 40 years at Sertoma Centre. The Alsip organization provides opportunities that empower persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve personal success.

Robert Sniegolski, 62, was recognized and awarded for 40 years as a program participant at Sertoma’s annual holiday bash Dec. 16 at the Oak Lawn Hilton. Part of the celebration included the presentation of awards to those who have been active in programs at Sertoma over the years.

Robert first came to Sertoma when he was 21 years old and has enjoyed participating in a variety of day programs throughout the years. He is an avid Cubs fan, and has a deep admiration for firefighters and how they save lives. Robert enjoys fine dining and trying out new recipes. He is cheerful, loving and very supportive of his friends at Sertoma Centre.
