CRESTWOOD, IL — Looking to jump-start your career in the sport industry? The Windy City ThunderBolts are looking for passionate and energetic young professionals to join their Internship team for the 2022 season.

The ‘Bolts are offering summer internships. School credit is available for those needing to fulfill a graduation requirement. The application deadline is March 15. More information about the types of internships being offered can be found on the ball team’s website.

Paid and unpaid internships are available for young professionals aspiring to careers in the sports management, broadcasting and hospitality industries. Summer interns will be expected to report to work in early May through the conclusion of the 2022 home schedule, which ends Sept. 1.

Evenings and weekends are required. All interns must have local housing available during the time of the internship. The ThunderBolts’ home field is 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood. Opportunities include:

  • Stadium operations
  • Social media
  • Broadcasting
  • Promotions
  • Retail and merchandise
