Windy City ThunderBolts Hold Job Fair Saturday for 2018 Season
Want to work for the ThunderBolts this summer? Attend the job fair on April 21. Openings include concessions, fan services and cleaning crew

CRESTWOOD, IL -- The Windy City Thunderbolts are hiring for the 2018 season. The ‘Bolts are looking to fill numerous positions and will be holding a job fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21. The season runs from May to September. The job fair will be held at Standard Bank Stadium, 14011 South Kenton Ave., Crestwood.
Positions include concessions, cleaning crew and fan services (usher, kid zone and others). All 2017 employees will be notified by April 1. Applicants must be 16 years old by the first day of employment. All applicants must download and bring the completed application with them to the job fair to apply for the seasonal positions.
Games can be every day of the week and usually don’t start earlier than 3 p.m. for concession and fan services. Hours for cleaning start morning after game night. Hours vary depending on previous night's size of crowd. There a few times a year where you would clean after a day game (cleaning would start about 2 p.m.) Questions about cleaning crew positions, please email Mike Lucas at mlucas@wcthunderbolts.com
For all positions, students should be sure to mention their school situations, including when you can start after school ends and when you leave for school in the fall. The only way to apply for a seasonal job with the ThunderBolts is to attend the job fair on April 21.

The ThunderBolts are also looking for mascot performer to play Boomer at 2018 home games and provide entertainment consistent with the established and unique personality of the lovable mutt. The ideal candidate has experience as a mascot, possesses excellent non-verbal communication skills, has dance skills and has a creative and humorous personality. The mascot will collaborate with all departments to ensure the fulfillment of event goals. The only way to apply for the Mascot Performer gig is to contact Johnny Sole at jsole@wcthunderbolts.com
