ALSIP, IL -- State Rep. Kelly Burke (36th District) along with cohorts Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th District) and Rep. “Being on your own for the first time can be scary and intimidating, so we want to give the young women in our area the information and skills they need to protect themselves,” Burke said in a news release. “This introductory seminar will provide women of all ages the techniques they need to defend themselves. This would be a great mother and daughter or sister outing.”
