Worth Township Assessor Open For Cook County Board Of Review Appeals

Worth Township Assessor will assist taxpayers in filing an appeal or obtaining information for their appeal. Best to call before Jan. 31.

ALSIP, IL — Worth Township is now open for appeals to the Cook County Board of Review. Property owners can file an appeal online from now through Feb. 6. The Worth Township Assessor's Office is happy to assist taxpayers in the process of filing an appeal or obtaining information for your appeal.

If you would like help please call the township office through Jan. 31 at 708-371-5557 or email assessorworth@worthtownship.com. In order for the town assessor to assist you, please provide your name, address, PIN number (if available), email address and phone number. You can leave this information in your voice message or email and the township will get back to you.

To find your property's PIN, visit the Cook County Treasurer portal and enter your address.

Property owners are advised to contact Worth Township Assessor Shaun Murphy early in the appeals' window, as every request will be handled on a first-come first-serve basis. A record number of appeals are anticipated and requests for assistance after Jan. 31 are not guaranteed, so please contact town assessor prior to that date.

An appeal to the Board of Review is property owners’ best opportunity to challenge their new assessed value.
