Worth Township Offers COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Clinic

ALSIP, IL — Worth Township officials and the Cook County Department of Public Health have partnered to offer free COVID-19 and flu vaccinations on Thursday, Dec. 16. The clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Worth Township Hall, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip.

First and second dose Pfizer and Moderna shots will be offered, as well as COVID-19 booster shots. No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcome. Children and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Pfizer shot will be available for those ages 12 and over, and the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson shot will be offered for adults 18 and over. For those needing transportation assistance, free rides to get a shot are available by calling 773-690-1976.

According to the Centers for Disease and Prevention Control, it is safe to receive the COVID-19 and flu shot at the same time.
