Worth Township Youth Commission Collecting School Supplies For Kids In Need
Worth Township's Apple Tree Program is accepting school supplies and monetary donations for local children in need.

ALSIP, IL -- The Worth Township Youth Commission’s Apple Tree Program is accepting donated school supplies to be used by local families facing financial difficulty. With the first day of school right around the corner, parents and community members are asked to pick up an additional item or two as they head out stores to buy school supplies. The items will be used to replenish school supplies throughout the school year.
The youth commission accepts donated supplies and monetary donations year round. School supplies can be dropped off at the youth commission’s office on the second floor at Worth Township Hall, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip, IL 60803. Monetary donations can also be sent to this address, which will be used to purchase items in bulk when school supplies go on sale. Checks should be made payable to Worth Township. Specify “Apple Tree” or “school supplies” in the memo section.
