Wrong Way Driver Charged With Aggravated DUI: Cops
Alsip police observed Chicago man driving westbound in eastbound lane of 115th Street, prosecutor said.

ALSIP, IL -- A Chicago man driving the wrong way down a road in Alsip was arrested for drunken driving, prosecutors said.
Angel Luis Hernandes, 64, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on a charge of aggravated DUI. Hernandes was stopped around 2 a.m. April 17 when police said he was observed driving westbound down the eastbound lane of the 4900 block of West 115th Street.
Hernandes was discovered to be driving on a revoked license, prosecutors said. According to Alsip police, Hernandes blew .185 on a Breathlyzer test, more than three times the legal limit.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Hernandes is currently collecting social security because he has prostate cancer. The judge set bail at $25,000. Hernandes is due back in court May 3 in Bridgeview.
