1 Killed In I-90 Crash Involving Semi-Trailer Near Schaumburg: Police
The Thursday crash involving four vehicles shut down two lanes of traffic, according to Illinois State Police.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — An occupant of a passenger car was killed Thursday following a four-vehicle crash involving a truck tractor semi-trailer in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 at Meacham Road near Schaumburg. Illinois State Police tell Patch two lanes of traffic were closed for a period following the crash.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, the deceased is a 28-year-old Schaumburg man.
The accident occurred at around 11 a.m. and an investigation is ongoing. No other injuries were reported.
