Road Rage Shooting In Mount Prospect Under Investigation: Police

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — A person fired a gun early Sunday in a road rage encounter, according to Mount Prospect police.

The situation had been ongoing in Des Plaines but escalated in Mount Prospect when the victim was shot at shortly before 3 a.m. near Boxwood Drive and Dogwood Lane, police said, noting no injuries were reported.

Authorities have identified the involved vehicles and continue to investigate, according to police.
