"A customer called our store this morning to inform us that we had sold a winning lottery ticket. At first, I thought the customer was talking about the massive Powerball jackpot," Mi Kim, owner of CoachLite Liquors, told Illinois Lottery. "Although it wasn’t the big one, we are very excited that our store played a role in making someone’s lottery dream come true with a million dollar win."

Kim, who has owned the store with her husband for more than 10 years, said she has no idea who purchased the winning ticket. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus of $10,000, which is one percent of the prize amount, Illinois Lottery said.
