$4K In Sneakers Stolen From Storage Unit: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The incident occurred between March 22 and Aug. 23, according to police.

An 18-year-old is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 29, at Arlington Park (2200 W. Euclid Ave.). Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.
RETAIL THEFT

Matthew A. Angleton, 35, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 26, at Jewel, 4024 W. Division. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.
BATTERY
A 52-year-old man is accused of battery, and was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 27, at Red Roof Inn, 22 W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Sept. 29 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Ambadas Rao Chako, 46, is accused of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 3:09 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 2500 block of N. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.
- Navila Jackson, 44, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI with a BAC of .08 or more, illegal transportation of liquor by the driver, and was arrested at 12:59 a.m. Aug. 30, at Palatine and Rand roads. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND
Ruth M. Garcia, 35, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:29 p.m. Aug. 30, in the 1900 block of N. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $5,000.
VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Oleh, Kopchak, 41, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Aug. 26. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Stephen W. Parker, 62, is accused of residential burglary, and was arrested at 8:07 p.m. Aug. 25, in the 5400 block of Newport Drive, Rolling Meadows. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Sept. 29 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
BURGLARY
A citizen reported that between March 22 and Aug. 23, someone entered his storage locker at Public Storage, 20 E. University Drive, and stole approximately $4,000 worth of gym shoes.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
- A citizen called police to report that between Aug. 22 and Aug. 23, someone stole the catalytic converter off his 2012 Toyota in the 2500 block of E. Olive Street. The cost to replace the catalytic converter was unknown at the time of the report.
- A citizen reported that during the overnight hours of Aug. 23, someone stole the catalytic converter off his 2005 Toyota in the 2400 block of E. Brandenberry Court. The cost to replace the catalytic converter was unknown at the time of the report.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Mariano's, 802 E. Northwest Highway, reported at 11:50 a.m Aug. 27, two people stole an unknown amount of liquor. Subject one was described as a male, approximately 6-foot-2, thin build, 30 years old, with bleached dreadlocks. Subject two was described as a female, approximately 5-foot-8, medium build, 30 years old, wearing a red sundress. Both subjects left in a black Infinity SUV
