5-Car Crash Sends 4 People To Hospital With Injuries: Palatine PD

PALATINE, IL — A Thursday morning car crash involving multiple vehicles sent several people to the hospital with injuries and shut down a portion of N. Rand Road for 90 minutes. According to police, the crash happened at around 10:52 a.m. between E. Dundee Road and Winslowe Drive.

The crash, involving five vehicles, sent four adults to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The injured parties were 20-year-old and 22-year-old males from a black Honda CRV, and 53-year-old and 59-year-old females, driving in a tan GMC Tahoe.

The Arlington Heights Police Department and Cook County Sheriff's Office assisted during with traffic control following the crash. An investigation into the crash, including determining a cause, is ongoing, according to police.
