ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — Jarosch Bakery, Inc. is moving, but not too far from its current location. The owners of the longtime local business at Arlington Heights and Higgins roads said the relocation will be to the new plaza on the same corner.
In a social media post, Jarosch Bakery said its last day will be Jan. 17, with the plan to reopen around Feb. 6. Jarosch Bakery, Inc. has been part of the local business community since 1959.
"Come stock up before we close, and get ready for even more deliciousness in our new chapter, where we'll continue baking memories — same corner, same love, just a little newer and brighter," the post reads.
The owners of Jarosch said the move is part of the "wonderful redevelopment happening in our community, and it means we'll have a fresh, modern space to continue baking all your favorites —from our famous butter cookies and coffee cakes to custom cakes and sweet rolls."
