Officers credit Arlington Heights residents for quickly sharing information and calling in tips after a Silver Search was issued through Illinois State Police.

Stop Sign Disobeyed, Extrication at 'Property Damage Only' Crash at Haddow Avenue and St. James Street in Arlington Heights (arlingtoncardinal.com) — Emergency crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash at Haddow Avenue and St. James Street in Arlington Heights, where a woman was briefly trapped by a damaged car door but declined hospital transport. The collision, involving a black sedan and white SUV, followed an alleged stop-sign violation and pushed one vehicle onto private property. Authorities had not yet released citation details.

Negotiations are snagged by Chicago legislators hoping for a revived city lakefront plan, questions over long-term tax breaks, and the lack of a traffic study addressing impacts on Arlington Heights and neighboring suburbs.
