Vehicle Strikes Rolling Meadows Strip Mall Business: Police

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — A vehicle struck the front of a Great Clips in Rolling Meadows Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Rolling Meadows officers responded at 3:03 p.m. to 3252 Kirchoff Road for a report of a traffic crash involving a vehicle that had struck a building.

The crash happened in a strip mall, where parking spaces are located near the front of the businesses. Officers determined the vehicle, driven by an elderly motorist, had struck the front plate-glass area of the Great Clips in the strip center.

No injuries were reported to the driver or anyone inside the business. Surrounding businesses were not affected.

The crash remains under investigation by the Rolling Meadows Police Department. No charges had been filed as of the time of the department’s release.
