Animal Care Charge, DUI, Retail Theft: Arlington Heights Arrests

Recent arrests also included domestic battery, warrant, vandalism and ordinance violation cases, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS

Driving On A Revoked License

Fannie M. Branch, 54, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. June 23, at 3 Golf Road and charged with driving on a revoked license. Branch was cited and released and assigned a July 31 court date in Rolling Meadows.

DUI

Ariunbaatar Dashlkhundev, 52, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. June 21, in the 2600 block of North Windsor Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more. Dashlkhundev was cited and released and assigned a July 30 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Inhumane Care And Treatment

Abigail Diaz, 22, of Waukegan, was arrested at noon June 25, in the 200 block of East Sigwalt Street and charged with inhumane care and treatment, according to police. Diaz was cited and released and assigned a July 14 adjudication hearing.

Warrant

Wilmer G. Duron Pleites, 42, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 4:34 p.m. June 25, in the 4000 block of North Bloomington Avenue on an in-state warrant charging violation of bail bond. Bond information listed “no bond,” according to the arrest report.

Retail Theft

Battery

Aaron O. Jamieson, 43, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. June 19, in the 200 block of North Ridge Avenue and charged with battery/making physical contact. Jamieson was cited and released and assigned a July 23 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Obstructing Identification, Warrant Charges

Akhror Kurbonov, 44, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. June 23, near New Wilke Road and White Oak Street and charged with obstructing identification, possession/display of a fraudulent ID card and two counts of violation of bail bond on in-state warrants. Kurbonov was cited and released and assigned a July 23 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Vandalism

Carmen E. Matache, 61, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 9:33 a.m. June 22, in the 1100 block of North Dale Avenue and charged with vandalism/criminal damage to property. Matache was cited and released and assigned a July 14 adjudication hearing.

Peddling/Solicitation Without A License

Isaac James Moore, 19, of Lockport, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. June 22, near Valley Lane and Burke Drive and charged with peddling or solicitation without a license. Moore was cited and released and assigned a July 14 adjudication hearing.

Drinking Alcohol In Public

Steven Salzman, 62, was arrested at 9:06 a.m. June 25, in the 300 block of North Evergreen Avenue and charged with drinking alcohol in a public place. Salzman was cited and released and assigned a July 14 adjudication hearing.

Domestic Battery

Svitlana Savchuk, 50, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. June 22, in the 2400 block of North Kennicott Drive and charged with domestic battery/bodily harm. Savchuk was assigned a June 23 detention hearing in Rolling Meadows.

Resisting, Warrant Charges

Mauricio Villa, 26, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. June 19, in the 0-100 block of West Algonquin Road and charged with resisting or obstructing a peace officer, firefighter or correctional institution employee, along with three in-state warrant counts charging violation of bail bond. Villa was cited and released and assigned a July 20 court date in Rolling Meadows.
