Georgia Institute of Technology

ATLANTA, GA — Owen Moran, of Arlington Heights, earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with High Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Moran was among 7,129 undergraduate and graduate students presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute’s 270th Commencement exercises May 7-9 at McCamish Pavilion and Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Miami University

OXFORD, OH — Several Arlington Heights students were named to Miami University’s Spring 2026 President’s List and Dean’s List.

Students ranked in the top 3 percent of undergraduate students within each division for the spring semester were named to the President’s List, recognizing academic excellence.

University of Rhode Island

KINGSTON, RI — Owen Winfield, of Arlington Heights, has been named to the Spring 2026 President’s List at the University of Rhode Island.

To be included on the President’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades that are GPA applicable during a semester and earned at least a 3.80 through 4.0 grade-point average.

Kalamazoo College

KALAMAZOO, MI — Barrett Garrard, of Arlington Heights, has been named to the Kalamazoo College Spring 2026 Dean’s List.

Dean’s List recognition is earned with a grade-point average of 3.5 or better with a full-time course load of at least three units, without failing or withdrawing from any course during the Spring 2026 academic term.
