ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

BURGLARY

Ramon Figueroa, 56, of Wheeling, was arrested July 14 in Wheeling and charged with burglary. He was cited and released and assigned a July 20 court date.

Paulo A.D. Guinto, 32, of Wheeling, was arrested July 14 at the same Wheeling location and charged with burglary. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned an Aug. 7 court date.

Herminio J. Manzano, 43, of Wheeling, was arrested July 14 at the same location. Police records list three burglary reports involving Manzano. He was cited and released and assigned a July 20 court date.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Tina McDonagh, 24, was arrested July 11 in Arlington Heights and charged with domestic battery involving a prior offense. She was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 13 court date.

Jason L. Brooks, 30, of Vernon Hills, was arrested July 4 in Arlington Heights and charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 28 court date.

Luis Gonzalez Herrera, 28, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 6 in Bensenville and charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 17 court date.

Jonathon Pfeifer, 41, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 6 in Arlington Heights and charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 23 court date.

Lashaldo Ruckman, 37, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 8 in Arlington Heights and charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm. She was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 9 court date.

Erik R. Zalkus, 24, of Prospect Heights, was arrested July 6 in Arlington Heights and charged with domestic battery involving contact and an alleged order-of-protection violation. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 27 court date.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Juan P. Altamirano-Ruiz, 44, of Chicago, was arrested July 10 near Northwest Highway and Ridge Avenue and charged with aggravated DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

Police listed the aggravated DUI charge as involving a driver whose license had been revoked or suspended because of a prior DUI or reckless-homicide case. Altamirano-Ruiz was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 3 court date.

Ricardo Campechano Cortaza, 23, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 14 near Rand and Arlington Heights roads and charged with DUI, having a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08, resisting or obstructing a peace officer and operating an uninsured vehicle.

He was cited and released and assigned a July 30 court date.

Daniela R. Dunlea, 25, of Palatine, was arrested July 11 in Arlington Heights and charged with DUI and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was cited and released and assigned a July 30 court date.

Jake L. Hermann, 26, of Schaumburg, was arrested July 12 in the area of Arlington Heights Road and Campbell Street and charged with DUI. He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 25 court date.

Trevor J. McGrann, 30, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 12 in the 200 block of West Rand Road and charged with DUI and having a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 18 court date.

Samuel J. Moratilla, 25, of Wheeling, was arrested July 10 in the 400 block of West Rand Road and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a property-damage crash.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 25 court date.

Matthew S. Pontrelli, 59, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 8 at Northwest Community Hospital and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and illegally transporting or possessing alcohol as a driver.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 6 court date.

RETAIL THEFT

Soltan Adzhamatov, 58, of Wheeling, was arrested July 15 in the 600 block of Hapsfield Lane and charged with retail theft. He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 18 court date.

Marci A. Goldstein, 51, of Mount Prospect, was arrested July 16 in the 1700 block of East Rand Road and charged with retail theft. She was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.

Gina M. Perry, 37, of Elgin, was arrested July 16 in the 1700 block of East Rand Road and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at more than $300.

She was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 25 court date.

Marcy G. Projansky, 71, of Highland Park, was arrested July 15 in the 800 block of West Dundee Road and charged with retail theft. She was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.

Togehe B. Longe, 33, of Oak Lawn, was arrested July 9 at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at more than $300.

Longe was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 10 court date.

Mykhaylo Makogon, 39, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 5 in the 1700 block of East Rand Road and charged with retail theft. He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.

Lanzy McMiller, 35, of Dolton, was arrested July 9 at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at more than $300.

McMiller was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 10 court date.

Brandon S. Miller, 32, of Aurora, was arrested July 8 in Rolling Meadows and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at more than $300.

Miller was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned an Aug. 5 court date.

Guadalupe Nevarez, 72, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 2 in the 1700 block of East Rand Road and charged with retail theft. She was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.

ORDER-OF-PROTECTION VIOLATIONS

David M. Dydra, 67, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 12 in Arlington Heights and charged with violating an order of protection after a prior violation.

He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned an Aug. 3 court date.

Joseph J. Oceguera, 32, of La Grange Park, was arrested July 12 in Niles and charged with violating an order of protection. He was scheduled for a detention hearing and assigned a July 29 court date.

BATTERY, ASSAULT AND RECKLESS CONDUCT

Terence A. Butler, 66, of Palatine, was arrested July 15 near Wilke Road and Newport Lane and charged with reckless conduct, obstructing identification and assault.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 25 court date.

Todd D. Poore, 53, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 13 at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with battery causing bodily harm.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 25 court date.

FLEEING POLICE

Angel N. Rodela, 20, of Streamwood, was arrested July 13 at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer.

Rodela was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 6 court date.

TRAFFIC AND DRIVER’S LICENSE OFFENSES

Elvis Milcescu, 20, of Fife, Washington, was arrested July 15 in the 1000 block of West Dundee Road and charged with driving with a revoked license and unpaid fees.

He was cited and released and assigned a July 31 court date.

James M. Oakley, 18, of Palatine, was arrested July 10 in Mount Prospect and charged with reckless driving, speeding at least 35 mph over the limit and possession, purchase or use of alcohol by a minor.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 24 court date.

Simon Bakhshi, 35, of Hanover Park, was arrested July 8 at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage crash and driving with a suspended license.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 18 court date.

Clayton G. Jensen, 38, of Rockford, was arrested July 4 near Arlington Heights Road and Burr Oak Drive and charged with driving with a revoked license.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 6 court date.

WARRANT

Aaron M. Boyes, 45, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 9 in the 2200 block of South Arlington Heights Road on an in-state warrant charging a violation of bail bond.

Police listed Boyes as being held without bond.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

Michael K. Mitchell, 42, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 8 in the 1800 block of South Arlington Heights Road and charged with criminal trespass to real property or state-supported land.

He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.
