ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
Eric Camarillo, 28, of Palatine, was arrested Aug. 5 in Rolling Meadows and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.
Court records included in the police report identify the substance as cocaine and allege an amount of 100 to 400 grams. Camarillo was scheduled for an Aug. 28 detention hearing in Rolling Meadows.
Eduardo Martinez, 27, of Wheeling, was arrested Aug. 3 in the 2200 block of North Windsor Drive.
Martinez was charged with aggravated DUI for an alleged third or subsequent violation, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended or revoked license, fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a driver and speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit.
He also faces two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer, firefighter or correctional institution employee.
Jayvon M. Soares, 33, who was listed as homeless, was arrested Aug. 2 in the 800 block of West Central Road.
Soares was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and aggravated battery to a nurse while performing duties. The police report describes both allegations as involving minor or no injury and no dangerous weapon.
He was also held on an in-state warrant for allegedly failing to comply with a court order. A detention hearing was scheduled in Rolling Meadows.
Isbel Bucka, 29, who was listed as homeless, was arrested Aug. 5 in the 2100 block of West Euclid Avenue and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at $300 or less.
Eva M. Cegielski, 49, of Mount Prospect, was arrested Aug. 5 in the 1700 block of East Rand Road and charged with retail theft.
Dominique M. Klujian, 18, of North Barrington, was arrested Aug. 3 in the 800 block of West Dundee Road and charged with retail theft involving merchandise valued at $300 or less.
Nelia Velhan, 38, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested Aug. 3 at Kohl's in the 800 block of West Dundee Road and charged with retail theft.
Gustavo Rivera Perez, 32, of Palatine, was arrested Aug. 2 in Palatine and charged with disorderly conduct.
A second report from the same arrest lists a charge of harassment through electronic communications involving an alleged threat of injury to a family or household member or property. He was cited and released and assigned a Sept. 9 court date in Rolling Meadows.
Jaime Barragan-Diaz, 33, of Schaumburg, was arrested Aug. 3 in the 1700 block of West Algonquin Road.
Barragan-Diaz was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, including a second-offense allegation, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Police also listed an in-state warrant alleging violation of bail bond.
Timothy J. Reedy, 44, who was listed as homeless, was arrested Aug. 1 in the 800 block of West Central Road and charged with criminal trespass to real property.
He was cited and released and assigned a Sept. 8 adjudication date.
