HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — Basketball fans can get an early look at the Windy City Bulls' 10th anniversary team during a free Halloween FanFest at NOW Arena.
The Chicago Bulls' NBA G League affiliate will host the community event, presented by BMO, on Saturday, Oct. 31. Public doors open at 11:30 a.m., with a preseason scrimmage against the Wisconsin Herd scheduled for 1 p.m.
The event will also feature a sports cards and collectibles show with 100 vendors buying, selling and trading memorabilia throughout the arena's concourse and on the floor near the court.
Fans can take photos with the Chicago Bulls' six championship trophies and view Bulls memorabilia. Windy City mascot Gus T. Bull will entertain visitors, and merchandise discounts will be available.
Single-game tickets will be sold at the arena box office. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and FanFest will conclude at the end of the scrimmage.
Fans are encouraged to RSVP in advance. Those who do will be entered to win prizes including a courtside table at a Windy City game this season, a game-worn Windy City jersey or a signed Matas Buzelis NBA G League Ignite replica jersey.
Earlier that morning, Chicago Bulls Youth Hoops will hold a clinic in partnership with Wilson for children ages 5 to 14. The clinic runs from 8 to 10 a.m., and space is limited. Separate registration is available online.
FanFest comes less than a week before Windy City opens its 10th anniversary season with home games Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7.
As Patch previously reported, the Bulls will host the Noblesville Boom in the opener and hold their 10th Anniversary Celebration the following night.
The schedule includes 24 home games at NOW Arena, with a franchise-record 18 falling on weekends or holidays. Arlington Heights, IL Patch
