ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The 38th annual Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast, scheduled for next month, will be the last for current Mayor Thomas Hayes. First elected in 2013, Hayes announced last June he would not be seeking reelection when his term ends in April.

The breakfast, scheduled for 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Feb. 6, will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Arlington Heights. Hosted by the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce, the event is a multi-denominational breakfast that organizers describe as "an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate their strengths and resources through their spirituality. All are welcome for a time of prayer, music, reading and reflection."

Tickets can be purchased on the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce website.
