Arlington Heights Lawyer Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges, Gets 6 Months in Jail
James Crowley also was sentenced to 48 months of sex offender probation and fined more than $1,100.

An Arlington Heights lawyer was sentenced to six months in jail Thursday after pleading guilty to child pornography charges, the Daily Herald reports.
James Crowley, 37, was arrested in June of 2015 after police found 500 photographs and 50 videos of children engaging in sexual conduct. The files were found on computers, thumb drives and DVDs found in Crowley's home, according to police.

Crowley's guilty plea was part of a deal with prosecutors that also included 48 months of sex offender probation and fines of more than $1,100, the Herald reports.
