Arlington Heights Man Sexually Assaulted Boy, Girl at His Home: Police

His bail has been set at $2.5 million.

A $2.5 million bail has been set for 25-year-old Arlington Heights man accused of sexually assaulting two young children he babysat at the man’s Arlington Heights home, the Daily Herald reports.

Abel Mil, of the 1100 block of East Algonquin Road, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse Friday, police said.

An investigation into Mill began this past week when Arlington Heights police when learned of the sex assault allegations. The Daily Herald reports Mil is accused of sexually assault a girl, who is 8 or 9 years old, and a 5-year-old boy while he babysat them.

Prosecutors said he took the arm of the girl and took her into a bedroom where he assaulted her, according to the article. The girl told her mother several weeks later. He is also accused of molesting the boy.

Mil is next expected in court on Sept. 17.
