Arlington Heights Salon Gets OK to Serve Wine, Beer
Forbici Salon and Spa is the first salon in town to be granted a Class O liquor license.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -- An Arlington Heights spa will join a growing number of suburban businesses serving up a glass of wine or beer to its customers. Forbici Salon and Spa, 7 S. Highland Avenue, was granted a Class O liquor license last week--the first of its kind in town, according to the Daily Herald. The village created the license, which is available to nail technicians, barbershops and cosmetologists in Arlington Heights who qualify, this past February after Forbici owner Jackie Lewis requested it.
Forbici Salon could start serving alcohol this month. Other towns that serve up alcohol at their spas and salons include Barrington, Glenview and Niles.
