Arlington Heights Sets 2026 Sounds of Summer Concert Lineup At Harmony Park
The village's Thursday night concert series will return June through August as Sounds of Summer marks 25 years.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Village of Arlington Heights has released the lineup for its 2026 Sounds of Summer concert series, which will return to Harmony Park on Thursday evenings from June through August. The concert series is presented Schwabe Group at Compass Real Estate.
The village said the 2026 season will mark 25 years of Sounds of Summer. In the announcement, the village invited residents to "Join us in Harmony Park on Thursday evenings, June through August, as we celebrate 25 years of Sounds of Summer, with a season full of sunshine, live music, community, and summer fun!"
The series is scheduled to begin June 4 with "Music with the Mayor! Featuring Exit 147." Concerts will continue June 11 with Mac Attack, billed as a Fleetwood Mac tribute, and June 18 with Heartache Tonight, a tribute to The Eagles. Matchbox 90s, described in the announcement as "A Tribute to Matchbox 20 & more," is scheduled for June 25.

The July concerts are set for July 9 with Dancing Queen, described as "An ABBA Salute," July 16 with Billy Elton, featuring favorites from Billy Joel and Elton John, July 23 with Petty Union, a Tom Petty tribute, and July 30 with The Boy Band Night, featuring boy band favorites.
The August schedule includes The Chicago Experience on Aug. 6, listed as a Chicago tribute, Motown Nation on Aug. 13 for favorite Motown hits, The Disco Circus on Aug. 20 for a disco and funk tribute, and The Blooze Brothers on Aug. 27 as a tribute to The Blues Brothers.
