Arlington Heights: Summer Concerts, Promenade Of Art Return

Arlington Heights brings back Sounds of Summer concert series and Promenade of Art event. Here is the concert series lineup and dates.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Village's Sounds of Summer concert series is up and rocking downtown on Vail and Campbell Streets with the next live performance set for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7 in Harmony Park, featuring Second Time Around.

Here's a look at the complete 2018 Sounds of Summer Season schedule, provided by Discover Arlington Heights. All events run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Harmony Park unless otherwise noted next to the date:

In addition to the concert series, the Promenade of Art returns Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10 on Vail and Campbell Streets. The City says event hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day as more than 110 juried artists from across the country will showcase and sell original work within a variety of categories including paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture. There will also be live art demonstrations, live music, Art Bingo, a photo booth and more.

Several of Arlington Heights restaurants will offer delicious dishes and drinks so you can enjoy tasty local creations while experiencing all things art during Amdur Productions’ Promenade of Art.
