Arlington Heights Teen Wins Irish Dancing Title

For Moira Kramp, 15, of Arlington Heights, Irish dancing is not just a hobby that she excels at, it's a part of her heritage, according to the Daily Herald. 

Kramp's great-grandparents came to the United States from Ireland and Kramp has been taking part in Irish dancing since she was four years old, according to the Daily Herald. That hard work is paying off as Kramp won the U-14 title at the 2012 North American Irish Dance Championships and last month placed 13th overall at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Boston.
