Autumn Harvest in Arlington Heights Planned for October
There will be a scarecrow-building contest, food, entertainment and much more during the Oct. 5 event.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL —If you like building a scarecrow, decorating pumpkins, taking a hayride or visiting animals at a petting zoo then you will want to check out the Autumn Harvest held in Arlington Heights next month. Autumn Harvest will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North School Park on Saturday, October 5.
A Build-a-Scarecrow competition will begin at 11 a.m. and all supplies will be provided for those wishing to participate. There will also be food and music throughout the day and entertainment will be provided by local school bands; a performance by Vibe, a dance group from the Arlington Heights Park District; demonstrations from a pumpkin carver; a magic show and much more.
