Bicycle Safety Training

Half-day "Traffic Skills 101" course at public library.

Saturday, August 15, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Parking Lot of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Would you like to become more confident navigating the streets of Arlington Heights by bicycle? League Cycling Instructor Jürgen Juffa will share everything you need to know in this half-day “Traffic Skills 101” course. After practicing safe handling techniques on the library parking lot, you’ll head out and bike on village streets and roadways. Bring your own bicycle, safety gear and afternoon snack.

This course is for cyclists 16 and up or 14 and up accompanied by a parent. Capacity is limited. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Commission (BPAC).

Following the course, join in the next Community Ride beginning and ending at North School Park, Saturday, September 5. Must register to ride.
