Bookmobile will not make scheduled stops Friday

Due to the library’s participation in Arlington Heights Park District’s Picnic in the Park celebration, the bookmobile will not make its regularly scheduled stops on Friday, June 5. The bookmobile will not stop at Ivy Hill School, Waterford Place or Lake Arlington Towne. We will be back to our regular schedule Monday, June 8. Instead, we welcome the public to join us for Picnic in the Park from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, at North School Park at Eastman Street and Arlington Heights Road. The Arlington Heights Memorial Library Bookmobile will be on-site carrying a wide variety of the latest materials for all ages.

Picnic in the Park is the Arlington Heights Park District’s kick off to summer, featuring Micro Reality Stock Car Racing, moonwalks and an inflatable slide, balloon sculptures, face painting, a Park District information booth and free giveaways. All activities are free. Bring your picnic or buy dinner from a food truck vendor.
