Boy, 15, Shot, Remains Hospitalized In Palatine: Police
Police responded to the 1700 block of E. Clear Creek Bay Thursday morning following a report of gunshots in the area.
PALATINE, IL — A 15-year-old boy was shot during a Thursday morning incident and remains hospitalized in critical condition, according to police. The Palatine Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident and is asking for help from the community.
According to police, officers responded to the 1700 block of E. Clear Creek Bay at around 5:19 a.m. following a report of shots fired in the area. Soon thereafter, police found the 15-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to his upper body in the 1200 block of Long Valley Drive.
Palatine firefighters took the boy to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
