Burglars Steal $8K In Nike Apparel From Arlington Heights Sporting Goods Store

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Four people are accused of breaking in to a sporting goods store early Thursday and taking off with around thousands of dollars in merchandise, according to Arlington Heights police.

The burglary happened at about 4:37 a.m. Thursday, April 13, at Dick's Sporting Goods, 401 E. Palatine Road, police said. The four suspects broke in to the store by prying open the doors. They then gathered about $8,000 in Nike Elite apparel before fleeing the scene, according to police. Security cameras captured video of the suspects inside, but no footage was taken of their vehicle, police said.
