Chicago Italian American Authors Unite for Book Signings and Presentations

On Saturday, June 6, 2015, a panel of Italian American authors will sign books and talk about their journeys at Casa Italia in Stone Park.

STONE PARK, IL –A panel of Italian American authors from the Chicago area will be autographing and discussing their books at a special presentation at Casa Italia, the Italian Cultural Center in Stone Park on Saturday, June 6. The event will begin with refreshments and book sales at 9:30 a.m., and the presentations will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Some of the authors include Anne Calcagno (author of Love Like a Dog, first place winner from the New Generation Indie Awards), A.J. Cattapan (author of the Amazon bestselling Christian YA fiction book Angelhood), Dominic Candeloro (co-editor of Italian Women in Chicago: Madonna Mia! Qui debbo vivere?), Maria Scagliotta DiMarco (author of Don’t Kick Every Stone), Ann Rubino (author of Peppino, Buon’ Com’ il Pane) and Susan Miura (author of Show Me a Sign).

Also included are several professors from the Chicago area who have published books as well. They include art history professor Judith Testa (author of An Art Lover’s Guide to Florence), North Central College professor Lou Corsino (author of The Neighborhood Outfit: Organized Crime in Chicago Heights), Loyola University professor Robert Lombardo (author of The Outfit), and former professor of English Franco Pagnucci (who has written and edited various volumes of poetry, including Tracks on a Damp Sand).
