Chicagopex 2015 Stamp Show - Nov. 20-22

The Chicago Philatelic Society will present its 129th Annual Philatelic Exhibition, CHICAGOPEX 2015, November 20, 21, and 22, 2015, at the Westin Chicago Northwest hotel, located at 400 Park Boulevard, Itasca, IL, 60143. The show is open to the public.

Admission and parking are free. Show hours are: Friday and Saturday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year’s show theme is “Honoring Our Convening Societies.” Special souvenir show cachets and cancellation will be available.

Four conventions will be held at CHICAGOPEX 2015: the Society of Australasian Specialists / Oceania, The India Study Circle, the Eire Philatelic Association and The Institute for Analytical Philately. We encourage members of these groups to attend the show and invite collectors with those interests to attend as well.

There will be approximately 300 frames of philatelic material on display with something of interest for all attending the show. There will also be a literature competition featuring books for review.

For collectors interested in adding to their collections, the show will host a large bourse featuring approximately 80 dealers from across the United States and Europe. They will offer a vast array of material to interest collectors of all levels, from beginners to advanced and exhibitor. The United States Postal Service and the United Nations Postal Administration will also be participating.

CPS is also starting to accept banquet reservations, with more information available at the website. Banquet reservation deadline is Nov. 13. Tickets are $55/person.
